Rabbit Day Schedule

For all Rabbit Sweep Day participants! Thank you for your interest in our free Rabbit Sweep event! We’re hoping to make this a fun and informative day.

This is a self-drive event featuring three unique locations. Join us for the whole day or simply stop by at the spot that suits you best!

Location 1: Drysdale Pony Club

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Address: 86 – 96 Reserve Rd, Drysdale. Parking available but no dogs please.
Kick off the day with family-friendly information stalls and "walk and talk" tours led by local experts. Chat with experts to learn all about identifying rabbit habitats and effective control measures. It’s a great opportunity to gather insights, make some plans, ask questions and meet locals!

Location 2: Private Garden, Drysdale (5 min drive from PONY CLUB)

Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Address: 15 Basin Rd, Drysdale (Note: Only access is via Princess Street)
Enjoy a BYO picnic lunch in the relaxed setting of a beautiful private garden. Bring your own picnic rug or folding chair. We’ll have face-painting, and other activities to keep the kids entertained while you connect with others and enjoy a wonderful example of rabbit-free land.

Location 3: Private Property, near Swan Bay (20 min drive from LUNCH)

Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Address: 41 – 79 Burrows Rd, Swan Bay
Our final stop is a private property near Swan Bay, where experts will guide you through a tour of treated and to-be-treated rabbit warrens. It’s an incredible chance to see rabbit control efforts in action and get practical insights on managing rabbit populations on larger properties.

What to Bring

• Essentials: Water, a hat, sunscreen, and your lunch for the picnic.
• Recommended: A picnic rug or folding chair for comfort.
