This is the website of the Regional Rabbit Population Control Project. Many of us care for our environment and want to 'bring back the bandicoots'!  This means we need to sweep away some unwelcome invaders...

We have been exceptionally lucky and have a new grant from Agriculture Victoria's Partnership against Pests campaign. We will be working with land managers helping them and their neighbours control the invasive rabbits threatening the Bellarine.

We have been having fun collecting 'tips and tricks' from those who have learnt effective tricks they can share as tips for other rabbiters. Please feel free to send us good tips that might help others.

Our first Rabbit Sweep Day was held on November 23, 2024.
Our second was held on May 10, 2025.
Another was held on October 25, 2025.
